Well with Neo-Con Flynn now they have Warrior-Monk Mattis as Secretary of Defense.

Looks all the more like a war cabinet to me.

I'm not terribly worried about it right now.

To my mind, this serves a few things. First, it gives him moral high ground, to a certain extent. Second, it's a danged if he does, danged if he doesn't sort of thing. If he appointed a prosecutor, and that slimey slimeball slipped out of the prosecutor's charges (somehow, but she's a Clinton, so you never know), then Trump would have egg on his face over a political issue that doesn't really do much for him (or the country, to a certain extent), which would waste valuable political capital, etc, etc. If he secured a conviction, the Left would shout "banana republic, ree he's jailing his political opponent like a FASCIST", and he doesn't gain much besides getting Shillary in jail (which is good, yes, but still...). As-is, the best punishment, I think, is her to just live her life, because it's gotta be killing her knowing she isn't president, and that the Donald is (going to be).

Plus, as FBIAnon said, we shouldn't focus too much on Killary, but rather on the Clinton Foundation. That's where the real trouble is. Apparently, it's like HYDRA, but worse (the Marvel comics one, not the mythical thing).

Utterly unsurprising. Trump made it clear throughout his campaign that he would pursue an Israel-first, neo-con foreign policy. But of course that was too inconvenient a fact for the Russophiles and other assorted mental midgets who liked to scream "MAGA!" and post frog memes. It was much easier for them to ignore reality and live in a bubble of self-delusion.

Just as an aside, I like Mattis, and I know a bunch of current and former military guys who like Mattis. As a general, he was very good. That being said, I don't believe he's a good SecDef pick.

Unless Americans get Governor Kasich as President by accident of 'Hamilton Electors' and randomness, Donald Trump will be President soon. Sceptics should wait till he is office before rubbishing him as a neo-con.

Why? This is a guy who spent a year and a half railing against the "elites" (which he himself is a part of!) and now is picking people for his cabinet who want a completely unnecessary and stupid war with Iran (for ~~Israel~~....I mean FREEDUMB!), just picked a labor secretary who has long held to an open borders ideology (because, in his own words, it's important to have really cheap labor for the fast food industry) and has multiple Goldman Sachs members in his cabinet now. You know, that Goldman Sachs. They're basically the personification of the globalist elite.

Trump's already shown that he played his supporters for fools, just as some of us predicted. But I suppose for most of the Trump voters on this website it doesn't matter. Their true loyalty is to Russia, not their own country. As long as Trump turns a blind eye when Russia starts attacking NATO members, it's all good, right mikemac/HabitualRitual?

I don't know anything about Flynn, but with Mattis, Dunford and Kelly on his staff, I feel better about things. Isis is going to become WasWas with the force of our military and the prayers of good Catholics and the intercession of Our Lady of Victory.
We have men in charge and brave men and women who want to do what it takes to keep our country free from Sharia law. Praise God for that.
My son will be a Marine. With Mattis promising to release the dogs, he may see combat. Its a scary thought, but we gotta do what we gotta do.
