Too black pilled.  You have to look at the second derivative, which is positive.  If you look at Russia the population is dropping.  However the big-family orthodox are rising in population percentage.  The first wave of new orthodox are probably around 15.  By the end of the decade that wave will start having babies.  Russia's biggest threat are the Chinese, and their population is dropping rapidly.  And they have no orthodox or Trads to stop the decline.  China is going to disappear as a power.  And in the meantime Russia has a modernized nuke arsenal, so they aren't going to get invaded.

In the US we see the same trend with Trads.  Our biggest problem is not the locals or the government, it is the Christ hating Vatican.  But that too will pass.  In the meantime the babies keep coming.

And if Europe falls to the moslems, which appears likely in the West of Europe, the Russians will invade at the end of the century and defeat the primitives and restore Christendom.

People are not contracepting due to housing costs.  The overwhelming factor is that they follow to apostate zeitgeist and want to have more disposable income.  They see children a chore and one or two are enough
