Is it Possible to Make a Linked Index in OpenOffice?

After a few months of painstaking work, I've linked all of the endnotes in The Collected Works of St. Teresa of Avila (3 vols). Now I'm faced with the three indices. And three Bible indices! Is it even possible to link all of the entries, or should I just leave it alone?

I don't have any experience with Open Office or doing what you described in Word. Have you looked at Youtube?
