read the article, this was a Satanic ring, and the priest (imo) was a Satanist infiltrator.

The altar had to be sanctified over again and exorcised.

Thank God he was caught.  I read a related article quoting a bereft faithful lamenting, "Why did he have to do it here?" (the Altar)

Not only is this case likely to be thrown out as not illegal (a wake up call to those Catholics who still honor this country), but the opinions of the populace are becoming dangerously derisive of al religion.)

The Church has the obligation not only to exact Canonical Law against Travis Clark, but to take all three of them to Civil Court
for damages - desecration, vandalism, etc.

It is also important that this sacrilege involved sodomy on the altar. (via phallum) - which the articles can only suggest but they did not spell out in graphic terms.

Please, the State of Louisiana will probably attempt to do more to punish this priest, and his little whores, than the Vatican will/would. The fact they were arrested in the first place should tell you something. You think Police go around arresting couples who're in their homes visibly having sex? I doubt it. You'll be told to mind your own business and to stop looking into people's windows if you try to call that in. These creeps are getting charged specifically for where they were, and rightfully so.

Furthermore, by arresting this priest and then releasing the details to the press the Police effectively halted the desecration of an altar and then notified the Archdiocese so that they would eventually re-sanctify it. Had it not been for this passerby to have the moral compass to know to call the Police, and the Police themselves acting on the complaint and arresting the offenders, Masses would've been celebrated on a desecrated altar and nobody would've ever known to re-consecrate it.
