Regurgitating once again, I watched the original Documentary over a year ago on tv and am certain of their conclusions, if it has since been doctored or manipulated it wouldnt surprise me like everything else, santitized. In the past libraries have been burnt to the ground for less and modern libraries, etc... santitized of all Historical Truth especially regarding Our Lord.
Logically it makes sense if one assumes the conclusions. The Most Holy Trinity would not do things on a lark or haphazardly.
The Druze connection therefore would certaintly be about the blood line. The Druze being a Sect within the Hebrew tradition
is not that important, they are a means to and end; Heaven could have used some other group Bedouin, etc... but did not.
Gentically it points to the Druze intermarrying with the Hebrews probably in Egypt. I think it must have been sometime between Joseph and pre- Moses. I believe in the Divine Mind it was to forgoe the 40 year fiasco (I cant see Our Lady´s ancestors worshipping calfs in the desert) and they either had left pre-Moses or stayed on in Egypt but either way made their way to the Holy Land. Most importantily, The Druze would have steered clear of the Canaanites and its blood line, that is for certain.
Spiritually, Our Lady (St. Joseph´s line is not an issue here) is the Daugther of the Father, Mother of the Son of God, Spouse of the Holy Spirit. She is the Uncorrupted Arc, the new Arc of the Covenant. The Holy Doctors called her Our Lady of creation, Gate of life, Temple of God, Royal Palace of light, Glory of the heavens, Holy among the Holy, Miracle of miracles, Paradise of the Most High, Rose of Paradise, etc... and it would make sense that SHE WAS IMMACULATE OF THE CANAANITE LINE. Thus their is a double meaning about the Immaculate Conception. Plus, it gives new meaning why the Holy Family chose to flee to Egypt, etc...
Geographically the Druzes lived around Nazareth 2000 years ago, and still live close by today. And the video was clearly wrong to suggest that one of Jesus' siblings married into the bloodline that became Druze, you know, because Jesus didn't have any siblings.
I was thinking that the video contradicts what the Church has always thought, that not just Joseph but both Joseph and Mary are descended from David. But Mary was still descended patriarchally from David and matriarchally from at least one woman of the other bloodline.
Short answer: King David was probably of the line of the Druze Sect.

Long Answer:
Retroactive History- When the Patriarch Joseph went to Egypt alone, probably intermarried with a Druze. Being ALONE in Egypt he taught them all he knew to the Druze clan. They learned the true Hebrew Faith from the knee of the Joseph, imo. Later, his brothers came and servants, etc... and they would have intermarried with them as well. This was in the IN CARD for the Druzes.
Later, the million dollar q. is why did they not go into the desert with Moses? The reason I believe this is that they seemed to have no acknowledgement to the Book of Numbers, the Laws of Moses, they completely disregarded this, thus they probably did not go into the Desert for 4o years. The Dead Sea Scrolls is the best evidence here. They are undoubtedly a break off from the Druze Sect- read the Scrolls no acknowledgement of the Laws. But they went even further, and unlike the Druzes (Beduoins, Yazidis, etc...) they wrote things down--- of course they were in caves, in hiding, but from whom? hint, Not the Romans.
Present day Druze have this Wisdom thing going on, full of estoeric Eastern religions, in other words corrupted, however, 2000 years it was not corrupted. Note the parallel with what Christ said and the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Essenes community a break off the Druze Sect ....is very similiar.

The one essential feature of the Druze is their eye on the genepool. The Caananites blood line would have been avoided at all costs. Remember Cain= Cannan- Cannanites. The Church Fathers said, ¨Cain was the father of the Pheonicians¨ They had spread all over the world with their pagan dieties. Even the Philistines worshipped one of their deities.
Sure St. Joseph (Son of David said the Angel) and Mary (Canticle of Zechariah- from the House of David) were Druze Sect. Marys mother Anna was from Bethlehem and Joachim from Nazareth. THus they are indeed from David´s Seed, if this theory is correct.
