I'll look into that. I've never considered sauerkraut on a burger though. Sounds disgusting.

My only use for sauerkraut, aside from hot dogs, is a dish I make that I call Chorizo Aleman. It's pork chorizo, potatoes cubed and pan fried (in the chorizo fat), egg mixed in. That is served hot. Then I offset that with a portion of cold sauerkraut to provide an interesting combination of flavor and temperature differences. It's filling and cheap.
