China is not stupid, it knows that it cannot win an all out war with the U.S.; but it will play the "long game" hoping to eventually replace the U.S. As the main power.

Do you think China really has global-imperial ambitions? The US is imperialist because it has a quasi-messianic belief in its liberal democracy as the salvation of the world. The Chinese, on the other hand, have been an insular people for thousands of years, and I imagine they just want to feel safe, secure, and respected.

I don't think the Chinese would be so aggressive internationally if they didn't feel so threatened by foreign powers. In this sense the American demonisation of 'Communism' certainly doesn't help; it's like the message being sent is, "the world isn't big enough for the two of us."

Bullshit. Here in the Philippines, they have been occupying the waters belonging to us and driving out our fishermen. These communist rats are bane to any decent society. Their very party is founded on a philosophy that has world domination as one of its goals.

Interesting. I was just reading an article about China sending fleets of fishing boats to Argentinian and Ecuadorian sovereign waters to fish endangered animals in protected areas like the Galapagos.

Report: Wuhan Funeral Homes Burned Coronavirus Victims Alive
https://www.breitbart.com/asia/2020/04/07/report-wuhan-funeral-homes-burned-people-alive/

Locals in Wuhan, where the Chinese coronavirus pandemic originated, have heard screams coming from funeral home furnaces, and some treated in hospitals say they saw workers put living coronavirus patients in body bags, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported on Monday.

RFA noted that it could not independently verify that the Chinese Communist Party was burning coronavirus patients alive, nor has the Communist Party confirmed or denied the rumors. Yet the rumors persist that, to make room for new patients in Wuhan's overcrowded hospitals, medical staff chose older patients less likely to survive the infection and shipped them to incinerators while they were still alive and conscious.

RFA quoted a source "close to the funeral industry" identified only as Ma who said that he had heard reports of "people restrained and forced into body bags when they were still moving."

"Some people are saying that ... there are video clips of screams coming from funeral homes, from inside the furnaces ... which tells us that some people were taken to the funeral homes while they were still alive," Ma added.

Ma also noted the existence of video testimony from an anonymous older woman who had been treated at a Wuhan hospital, presumably for Chinese coronavirus.

"One old lady was saying that they put one guy into ... a body bag when he wasn't even dead yet, and took him off to the crematorium because there was no way of saving him," Ma told RFA.

Video of an older woman speaking anonymously to a camera began circulating on social media in February in which she said she witnessed a patient next to her at a Wuhan hospital stuffed into a body bag while still alive.

"He's not dead, his feet and hands are still moving," the woman says, "[They] wrapped him in a plastic body bag and zipped it up."

According to New Tang Dynasty, a broadcaster affiliated with the persecuted Chinese Falun Gong movement, the woman spoke with a Wuhan accent, suggesting she was a native of the central Chinese city.

The Taiwanese outlet Taiwan News traced the origin of the video to a Chinese student group called "Youth Production," who reportedly uploaded the video on February 24. Taiwan News noted that the woman claimed to have suffered from coronavirus symptoms but, as she was in her 60s, she did not suffer severe symptoms, unlike the man taken away, who she estimated was in his 70s.

"She said that the man was weak but was still breathing when medical workers 'bound his head' and then his hands and feet, which were 'still moving,'" Taiwan News reported, noting that she also lamented that the hospital where she received care had no other treatments available for coronavirus patients besides oxygen. In the West, doctors have begun experimenting with several drug mixtures, one of which — a combination of antibiotics and hydroxychloroquine, a drug used to treat lupus and malaria — has generated optimism in American hospitals.

The woman said she felt older patients at the hospital were treated "like dead dogs."

text of a speech delivered in December, 2005 by Comrade Chi Haotian – the Vice-Chairman of China's Military Commission to top officers and generals.

"Comrades, I'm very excited today, because the large-scale online survey sina.com
that was done for us showed that our next generation is quite promising and our
Party's cause will be carried on. In answering the question, "Will you shoot at
women, children and prisoners of war," more than 80 per cent of the respondents
answered in the affirmative, exceeding by far our expectations.

Today I'd like to focus on why we asked sina.com to conduct this online survey
among our people. My speech today is a sequel to my speech last time, during
which I started with a discussion of the issue of the three islands [Taiwan, Diaoyu
Islands and the Spratley Islands --- Ott] and mentioned that 20 years of the idyllic
theme of 'peace and development' had come to an end, and concluded that
modernization under the saber is the only option for China's next phase. I also
mentioned we have a vital stake overseas.

The central issue of this survey appears to be whether one should shoot at
women, children and prisoners of war, but its real significance goes far beyond
that. Ostensibly, our intention is mainly to figure out what the Chinese people's
attitude towards war is: If these future soldiers do not hesitate to kill even noncombatants,
they'll naturally be doubly ready and ruthless in killing combatants.

Therefore, the responses to the survey questions may reflect the general attitude
people have towards war........We wanted to know: If China's global development
will necessitate massive deaths in enemy countries, will our people endorse that
scenario?
Will they be for or against it?

The fact is, our 'development' refers to the great revitalization of the Chinese
nation, which, of course, is not limited to the land we have now but also includes
the whole world.
As everybody knows, according to the views propagated by the
Western scholars, humanity as a whole originated from one single mother in
Africa. Therefore no race can claim racial superiority. However, according to the
research conducted by most Chinese scholars, the Chinese are different from other
races on earth. We did not originate in Africa. Instead, we originated
independently in the land of China. Therefore, we can rightfully assert that we are
the product of cultural roots of more than a million years, civilization and progress
of more than ten thousand years, an ancient nation of five thousand years, and a
single Chinese entity of two thousand years. This is the Chinese nation that calls
itself 'descendants of Yan and Huang.'

During our long history, our people have disseminated throughout the Americas
and the regions along the Pacific Rim, and they became Indians in the Americas
and the East Asian ethnic groups in the South Pacific. We all know that on
account of our national superiority, during the thriving and prosperous Tang
Dynasty our civilization was at the peak of the world. We were the centre of the
world civilization, and no other civilization in the world was comparable to ours.
Later on, because of our complacency, narrow-mindedness, and the self-enclosure
of our own country, we were surpassed by Western civilization, and the centre of
the world shifted to the West.

In reviewing history, one may ask: Will the centre of the world civilization shift
back to China? Actually, Comrade Liu Huaqing made similar points in early
1980's Based on an historical analysis, he pointed out that the centre of world
civilization is shifting. It shifted from the East to Western Europe and later to the
United States; now it is shifting back to the East. Therefore, if we refer to the 19th
Century as the British Century and the 20th century as the American Century, then
the 21st Century will be the Chinese Century!! (Wild applause fills the
auditorium.)

Our Chinese people are wiser than the Germans because, fundamentally, our
race is superior to theirs. As a result, we have a longer history, more people, and
larger land area. On this basis, our ancestors left us with the two most essential
heritages, which are atheism and great unity.
It was Confucius, the founder of our
Chinese culture, who gave us these heritages. These two heritages determined that
we have a stronger ability to survive than the West. That is why the Chinese race
has been able to prosper for so long. We are destined 'not to be buried by either
heaven or earth' no matter how severe the natural, man-made, and national
disasters. This is our advantage. Take response to war as an example. The reason
that the United States remains today is that it has never seen war on its mainland.
Once its enemies aim at the mainland, the enemies would have already reached
Washington before its congress finishes debating and authorizes the president to
declare war.
But for us, we don't waste time on these trivial things.

Maybe you have now come to understand why we recently decided to further
promulgate atheism. If we let theology from the West into China and empty us
from the inside, if we let all Chinese people listen to God and follow God, who will
obediently listen to us and follow us?
If the common people don't believe Comrade
Hu Jintao is a qualified leader, begin to question his authority, and want to
monitor him, if the religious followers in our society question why we are leading
God in churches, can our Party continue to rule China?

The first pressing issue facing us is living space. This is the biggest focus of the
revitalization of the Chinese race. In my last speech, I said that the fight over basic
living resources (including land and ocean) is the source of the vast majority of
wars in history. This may change in the information age, but not fundamentally.
Our per capita resources are much less than those of Germany's back then. In
addition, economic development in the last twenty-plus years had a negative impact,
and climates are rapidly changing for the worse. Our resources are in very short
supply. The environment is severely polluted, especially that of soil, water, and air.
Not only our ability to sustain and develop our race, but even its survival is gravely
threatened, to a degree much greater than faced Germany back then.

Anybody who has been to Western countries knows that their living space is
much better than ours. They have forests alongside the highways, while we hardly
have any trees by our streets. Their sky is often blue with white clouds, while our
sky is covered with a layer of dark haze. Their tap water is clean enough for
drinking, while even our ground water is so polluted that it can't be drunk without
filtering. They have few people in the streets, and two or three people can occupy a
small residential building; in contrast our streets are always crawling with people,
and several people have to share one room. Many years ago, there was a book
titled Yellow Catastrophes. It said that, due to our following the American style of
consumption, our limited resources would no longer support the population and
society would collapse once our population reaches 1.3 billion. Now our
population has already exceeded this limit, and we are now relying on imports to
sustain our nation. It's not that we haven't paid attention to this issue. The
Ministry of Land Resources is specialized in this issue.

But we must understand that the term 'living space' (lebenstraum) is too closely
related to Nazi Germany. The reason we don't want to discuss this too openly is to
avoid the West's association of us with Nazi Germany, which could in turn
reinforce the view that China is a threat. Therefore, in our emphasis on He Xin's
new theory, 'Human Rights are just living rights' we only talk about 'living' but
not 'space' so as to avoid using the term 'living space.'
From the perspective of
history, the reason that China is faced with the issue of living space is because
Western countries have developed ahead of Eastern countries. Western countries
established colonies all around the world, therefore giving themselves an advantage
on the issue of living space. To solve this problem, we must lead the Chinese people
outside of China, so that they can develop outside of China.

Would the United States allow us to go out to gain new living space? First, if
the United States is firm in blocking us, it is hard for us to do anything significant
to Taiwan and some other countries! Second, even if we could snatch some land
from Taiwan, Vietnam, India, or even Japan, how much more living space can we
get? Very trivial! Only countries like the United States, Canada and Australia
have the vast land to serve our need for mass colonization.

Therefore, solving the 'issue of America' is the key to solving all other issues.
First, this makes it possible for us to have many people migrate there and even
establish another China under the same leadership of the CCP. America was
originally discovered by the ancestors of the yellow race, but Columbus gave credit
to the White race. We the descendants of the Chinese nation are ENTITLED to the
possession of the land!!
! It is historical destiny that China and United States will
come into unavoidable confrontation on a narrow path and fight. In the long run,
the relationship of China and the United States is one of a life-and-death struggle.
Of course, right now it is not the time to openly break up with them yet. Our
reform and opening to the outside world still rely on their capital and technology.
We still need America. Therefore, we must do everything we can to promote our
relationship with America, learn from America in all aspects and use America as
an example to reconstruct our country.

Only by using special means to 'clean up' America will we be able to lead the
Chinese people there. Only by using non-destructive weapons that can kill many
people will we be able to reserve America for ourselves. There has been rapid
development of modern biological technology, and new bio weapons have been
invented one after another. Of course we have not been idle; in the past years we
have seized the opportunity to master weapons of this kind.
We are capable of
achieving our purpose of 'cleaning up' America all of a sudden. When Comrade
Xiaoping was still with us, the Party Central Committee had the perspicacity to
make the right decision not to develop aircraft carrier groups and focused instead
on developing lethal weapons that can eliminate mass populations of the enemy
country.

Biological weapons are unprecedented in their ruthlessness, but if the
Americans do not die then the Chinese have to die.
If the Chinese people are
strapped to the present land, a total societal collapse is bound to take place.
According to the computations of the author of Yellow Peril, more than half of the
Chinese will die, and that figure would be more than 800 million people! Just after
the liberation, our yellow land supported nearly 500 million people, while today the
official figure of the population is more than 1.3 billion. This yellow land has
reached the limit of its capacity. One day, who know how soon it will come, the
great collapse will occur any time and more than half of the population will have to
go.

It is indeed brutal to kill one or two hundred million Americans. But that is the
only path that will secure a Chinese century, a century in which the CCP leads the
world. We, as revolutionary humanitarians, do not want deaths, But if history
confronts us with a choice between deaths of Chinese and those of Americans, we'd
have to pick the latter,
as, for us, it is more important to safeguard the lives of the
Chinese people and the life of our Party.

The last problem I want to talk about is of firmly seizing the preparations for
military battle. The central committee believes, as long as we resolve the United
States problem at one blow, our domestic problems will all be readily solved.
Therefore, our military battle preparation appears to aim at Taiwan, but in fact is
aimed at the United States, and the preparation is far beyond the scope of attacking
aircraft carriers or satellites. Marxism pointed out that violence is the midwife for
the birth of the new society. Therefore war is the midwife for the birth of China's
century."

60% say nothing happens? Full Walmarts forever?

Wow, America is asleep at the wheel.

QuoteOct. 17, 1949, Mary Mediatrix of All Grace to Teresia Castillo, "Pray hard for China's dream is to invade the whole world. The Philippines is one of its favorites. Money is the evil force that will lead the people of the world to destruction."

As long as the Walmarts are full of Chinese junk everything is cool until the Chinese invasion fleet appears off the West coast. Then all hell is loosed on America.

This totally ignores the entire post-war history of anti-Communist struggle, as the US empire was specifically an anti-Communist empire.
Funny, only Communist and Revolutionary Socialist regimes feel the need to resist the US' global hegemony. Sure, other nations compete with us, but it's almost always within the context of the post-war world order that the Communists deem essential to break. This is because the US lead post-war order stifles Communism from advancing throughout the globe.
You mistake Liberal Democracy for an ideology rather than the weapon it is. If we are religiously Liberal Democrat, then we should have never supported the "heretical" Kings and Dictators who opposed Marxism in their own nations.
Communism isn't demonized by us Americans either; it exposes itself, time and time again, to be demonic. Remove the US from the world and Communism will still be demonized by God-loving, and Natural Law abiding, people.

In Reply #17 above TradGranny basically posted Communist China's declaration of war against United States, Canada and Australia.  We can see China's 2005 plan to colonize our countries (with no regard for us) is well advance seeing the amount of Chinese immigrants coming to our countries has been increasing over the past 15 years.  I found the source for the text on this web page.

Biblically if China is the Red Dragon, then it must stand on the Med. sea.  Which would mean an attack on India.

I think it is more of a Pearl Harbor kind of deal.  Japan had it in the bag, except for one threat.  Don't Attack the USA.  Which they talked themselves into.

It's the same with moslems in London.  Don't chop any heads.  Just breed and in 40 years, you'll be the majority.  Will the moslems be that patient?

So for China, don't mess with the US or Russia, and instead take over Africa by immigration.  I see themselves talking themselves into doing something stupid.  Everyone hears about China overcoming the threat from air craft carriers.  That's not the threat.  The threat is from US subs.  Sink a few oil tankers and China shuts down.

Besides hubris, the other problem China faces is the utter destruction of their economy.  As indebted as the US is, the level of debt in China is insane.  And debt always detonates.  So China might be forced into war just to distract its populace.

The Catholic Church hasn't demonised Communism, it's condemned its errors. There's a difference. In Church documents the popes have actually been fairly even-minded to the Socialists/Communists, and have taken pains to understand their motives, being willing to criticise Capitalism as well. To demonise something is to pretend that it is purely evil, and that its motives are purely evil.

The Catholic Church rejects Atheistic Communism because it is an Evil Philosophy. Even beside its economic pretensions, Communism has been condemned for the Class Warfare it unceasingly promotes: "112. One section of Socialism has undergone almost the same change that the capitalistic economic system, as We have explained above, has undergone. It has sunk into Communism. Communism teaches and seeks two objectives: Unrelenting class warfare and absolute extermination of private ownership. Not secretly or by hidden methods does it do this, but publicly, openly, and by employing every and all means, even the most violent. To achieve these objectives there is nothing which it does not dare, nothing for which it has respect or reverence; and when it has come to power, it is incredible and portentlike in its cruelty and inhumanity. The horrible slaughter and destruction through which it has laid waste vast regions of eastern Europe and Asia are the evidence; how much an enemy and how openly hostile it is to Holy Church and to God Himself is, alas, too well proved by facts and fully known to all. Although We, therefore, deem it superfluous to warn upright and faithful children of the Church regarding the impious and iniquitous character of Communism, yet We cannot without deep sorrow contemplate the heedlessness of those who apparently make light of these impending dangers, and with sluggish inertia allow the widespread propagation of doctrine which seeks by violence and slaughter to destroy society altogether. All the more gravely to be condemned is the folly of those who neglect to remove or change the conditions that inflame the minds of peoples, and pave the way for the overthrow and destruction of society." http://www.vatican.va/content/pius-xi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-xi_enc_19310515_quadragesimo-anno.html Prescient Words.

Communism is the Antithesis of the Two Great Commandments. Christ Our King taught love of God and love of neighbor. Communism is Anti-Theistic and based on hatred of God. In practice, it reduces to hatred of neighbor as well, and with its ends-justifies-the-means philosophy will not shrink from any crime, however grave, to gain or to retain power. It does not believe in good and evil. It only believes in power, and in any means necessary to usurp it, even by the greatest violence.

This quote is a lens into US domestic policy for the past 6 decades. Social Justice is a weapon that pulls our attempts to correct social contradictions into reductive absurdities that produce an outcome opposite of what was intended. Communism is surely evil because it is a lie built upon lies. Everything Communists say is a lie, all of the "evidence" for their cause is a lie, and all of their facts are twisted into lies. Marxism is the manifest inversion of Truth. Capitalism, for all of its flaws, can not even be compared to Communism.

John Lamb, millions of immigrants have entrusted their family and futures in, and to, the US nation. The US has struggled to create an environment that would produce racial equality with harmony among diverse neighbors. Marxism has undermined every effort of ours in their mission of sewing racial, and class, hatred among neighbors. Destroying nations, stealing wealth, and subjugating gentiles, Marxism is the practical application of the Rabbinical interpretation of the Psalms.

Great post. Chinese culture, even pre-communist was obsessed with the evil of cannibalism.

https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/dec/31/chinese-cannibalism-infant-flesh-outrages-world/

WASHINGTON, May 10, 2012 — China's one child policy, baby trafficking, and sex trafficking of North Korean women aren't the worst human rights violation happening in the country. Aborting innocent and healthy unborn children and eating them to boost one's stamina and sexual health is.

South Korean customs officials recently seized thousands of pills filled with powdered human baby flesh arriving from China. Since August 2011, South Korean officials have intercepted more than 17000 pills smuggled from China.

South Korean officials became aware of a horrific practice of eating aborted fetuses after Seoul Broadcasting System showed a documentary on Chinese doctors who performed abortions and then ate the fetuses. One Chinese doctor on the documentary took out fetuses from his refrigerator

Earlier this week, the Daily Mail revealed further details about the practice:

"The grim trade is being run from China where corrupt medical staff are said to be tipping off medical companies when babies are aborted or delivered still-born.

"The tiny corpses are then bought, stored in household refrigerators in homes of those involved in the trade before they are removed and taken to clinics where they are placed in medical drying microwaves.

"Once the skin is tinder dry, it is pummeled into powder and then processed into capsules along with herbs to disguise the true ingredients from health investigators and customs officers."

Chinese authorities denied allegations that the pills were manufactured in China. A Ministry of Health spokesman stated that an investigation conducted last August showed no proof that pills containing human flesh were manufactured in China.

Reports show that the South Korean customs officials aren't the first ones to witness such a gruesome human rights violation by the Chinese. In 2007, Hong Kong based Next Magazine reported that infant fetuses had became a popular health and beauty supplement in China. In Guangdong, the demand for fetus's body parts was so high that buyers purchased them directly at the hospitals.

One writer says that in China, reports about meals made from infant flesh surface from time to time. An online video clips on Chinese cannibalism contains the introduction that "eating human flesh is an art form."

Buddhist belief in reincarnation meant that the death of an infant was not final as the child would be reborn, and this belief eased guilty feelings [of the person] over female infanticide.[3]

The Confucian attitude towards female infanticide was conflicted. By valuing age over youth, Confucian filial piety lessened the value of children, whilst the Confucian belief of Ren led Confucian intellectuals to support the idea that female infanticide was wrong and that the practice would upset the balance between yin and yang.[4]

When Christian missionaries arrived in China in the late sixteenth century, they witnessed newborns being thrown into rivers or onto rubbish piles.[5][6] In the seventeenth century Matteo Ricci documented that the practice occurred in several of China's provinces and said that the primary reason for the practice was poverty.[6] The practice continued into the 19th century and declined precipitously during the Communist era,[7] but has reemerged as an issue since the introduction of the one-child policy in the early 1980s.[8] The census of 1990 showed an overall male-to-female sex ratio of 1.066, while a normal sex ratio for all ages should be less than 1.02.[9]

19th century

During the 19th century the practice was widespread. Readings from Qing texts show a prevalence of the term ni nü (to drown girls), and drowning was the most common method used to kill female children. Other methods used were suffocation and starvation.[a][11] Exposure to the elements was another method: the child would be placed in a basket which was then placed in a tree. Buddhist nunneries created "baby towers" for people to leave a child.[12] In 1845 in the province of Jiangxi, a missionary wrote that these children survived for up to two days while exposed to the elements, and that those passing by would ignore the screaming child.[13] Missionary David Abeel reported in 1844 that between one third and one fourth of all female children were killed at birth or soon after.[14]

In 1878 French Jesuit missionary, Gabriel Palatre, collated documents from 13 provinces[15] and the Annales de la Sainte-Enfance (Annals of the Holy Childhood), also found evidence of infanticide in Shanxi and Sichuan.
