What arts and crafts do you do?

Just knitting, and not very well at that.  I keep meaning to take a proper class.  I want to make socks so badly, but right now all I can make are lumpy scarves.   

Keep at it! I made scarves with large holes for a year. I was not a natural! Local yarn shops are a great resource. They are notorious for being snobs but they know their stuff.

I love all crafts  but given that they may be expensive to get really profficient in (and I'm not wealthy), I've limited my hobbies to quilting, knitting and embroidery. And our house only has so much room for all the tools... And thank goodness for ereaders, my bedroom is no longer over-flowing with books.
