The other thing is that South Park doesn't just make fun of Christians and their quirks. It makes fun of Our Lord and Our Lady themselves. That's a whole different can of worms than making a show about a group of nutty Catholics.

For what it's worth, I don't think two persons who believed in Mormonism would create The Book of Mormon play.
